certified pastry chef, award winning cake designer, baker extraordinaire
Danielle began her professional career as a little girl in her mother’s shadow. Growing up, it was simply unheard of to “buy” any kind of baked good, dessert, bread or other indulgent treat from the store. Everything was made at home, with love and care, and enjoyed in the same fashion.
She’d help “warm up” the eggs for her mother’s famous cheesecakes, measure out ingredients, grease cake pans, and of course sample the cookie dough to make sure it tasted just right.
Today, Danielle has translated that into her own business. Maintaining the belief that the best things are made with the purest ingredients. And that chocolate really can make life better. Her passion for making people happy complements her love of designing beautiful cakes.
Most recently, she has added another facet to her professional career: mentoring the culinary program at Howell High School. This privilege is one of the most rewarding experiences of her career in the food industry.
Danielle would like to extend a heart-felt THANK YOU! to all of the selfless men and women who are serving or have served in the United States military, and their families. Danielle’s brother John is currently serving in the US Army and deployed. Many of her friends and family members are also currently serving or veterans, including her boyfriend Alex, a Navy veteran, and her Uncle Gary, an Army veteran.
